Information Technology System Engineer PT Lami Packaging Indonesia (Lamipak) 

The IT Engineer ‐ Helpdesk for System is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact within the IT department, the position should be familiar with corporate hardware, proficient in corporate WeChat and MS Office/O365 tools, understand common manufacturing software systems.t, addressing and logging user issues, malfunctions, and requests for various application software and hardware, including ERP, MES, CRM, client computers, printers, and networks. They are tasked with providing prompt support and troubleshooting, escalating unresolved issues to second‐tier IT professionals or external suppliers, and maintaining detailed records of communication and resolutions. Additionally, the role involves periodic trend analysis of malfunctions, proposing and implementing service improvements

Job Descriptions:

  • Serve as the first point of contact in the IT department, receive and log user issues, malfunctions, and requests, and provide answers, support, and troubleshooting promptly.
  • Independently diagnose simple malfunctions of employee computers and peripheral devices.
  • The scope of support includes: a) Application software including ERP, MES, CRM, SRM, etc. b) Client computers, printers, networks, etc
  • Escalate unresolved issues to second-tier IT professionals, system analysts, or external suppliers to ensure proper resolution.
  • Record communication details and methods of resolving malfunctions in detail during the work process.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and utilize knowledge bases to ensure proper documentation, prioritization, and assignment of tasks.
  • Responsible to categorize malfunctions and conduct trend analysis, propose improvements to IT services, and collaborate or lead the implementation of improvement plans.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • More than three years of IT operation and maintenance support experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Candidates should be familiar with corporate hardware, proficient in corporate WeChat and MS Office/O365 tools, understand common manufacturing software systems.
  • Understands common software systems in the manufacturing industry, such as ERP, MES, etc.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues, understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Familiar with IT System Development, and ITIL
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, has ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to follow 3 shift arrangement
